Don’t get us wrong: Lash extensions, mascara, eyeliner are wonderful ways to draw attention to your eyes, but they can only do so much if your natural lashes aren’t healthy, i.e., if they’re dry, brittle, thinning, dull, and lifeless. Like your hair, when lashes are stressed and over treated, it takes too much of everything to make them appear long, full, and, in a word, healthy.

  1. Look for good ingredients. All too often, we look for a mascara formula that doesn't lump or clump or smear.
